On March 18, 2011, a massive 144-panel, 28,000 sq ft 1MWt solar array installed on the roof of the RiverCenter facility in St. Paul, Minnesota, was officially dedicated. It is the first large-scale solar thermal array to be connected to a district energy system in North America (District Energy St. Paul), and the largest solar thermal array erected to date in the Mid-West.
